PLAN A

I went into PLAN A with zero expectations, just a friend’s recommendation, and honestly thought it’d be one of the most forgettable trap/pop-rap projects I’d hear all year. But after listening, I’ve gotta say, “Not bad, Tecca. Not bad at all.” It’s not like the most deep or meaningful album out there, but man, it’s catchy, and the production has some cool little moments that keep it fresh. The biggest surprise for me was how much I actually enjoyed Tecca himself—his flows are super addictive, and his wordplay was way better than I expected.

Now, is this album bloated? Absolutely. Does every song hit? Not even close. But despite that, PLAN A is a solid trap release and, honestly, just a fun listen overall. Sure, a bunch of tracks could’ve been cut, and it would’ve been better for it, but it’s still a good time.
