Wow man I love Dean Blunt. This album might mostly be instrumental, but sheesh, it really hits. Blunt's production is some of the dreamiest and most soulful stuff he’s done, plus you've got Jeff Gitelman's guitar and vocals from— I think it was Akua? which either way just really add to the vibe. It's easy to get lost in the atmosphere here, like with a lot of Dean Blunt's work. There wasn't a single standout moment for me, but the way the album flows so smoothly makes it a short yet awesome listen. Blunt’s production is super dreamy, and this record shows off his range. He usually does hypnagogic pop, but he nails this R&B-ish vibe too. Gitelman's guitar brings in that soulful, funky groove that’s just impossible not to appreciate.

It’s a short album, but it’s super sweet. I’d recommend it to anyone, even if you’ve never checked out Dean Blunt before. It’s definitely different from his usual stuff, but it really shows how versatile and smart he is with different music genres.
