LIFE IN HELL

This project is a shot in the dark… that completely hits every mark perfectly. No doubt that Lancey is an incredibly innovating artist, meaning that either his music works or it doesn’t, and in this case it very clearly did. Psych Trap is commonly disregarded in the music community, and a lot of listeners see it as something that shouldn’t ever have a reason to happen, but Lancey creates this beautiful rage induced ambient trap through his amazing production and high energy vocals. I think Lancey’s voice is a huge factor in the greatness of this album, his unique British accent adds a whole nother layer to what trap can be and its awesome to see it played out. Although the majority of the album is straight trap Lancey does take songs to really showcase his flexibility, its evident in “HIGH GRADE” with Kaytranada, with the more slow and rhythmic drum pattern laid out. Each and every track is a banger too with them all having a unique theme and chorus to get stuck in your head. Overall this album is totally awesome and everyone with ears should try at least a few songs.
