STILL IN THE PAINT

Denzel Curry’s STILL IN THE PAINT definitely has some highlights, but it doesn’t quite reach his usual level. Denzel brings his signature energy, with sharp delivery and a beat that’ll keep your head nodding, but the track doesn’t fully land like his best work.

The features from Lazerdim and Bktherula, though, are where things fall short. Instead of boosting the track, their verses feel out of sync with Denzel’s vibe and take away from the intensity he’s known for. It’s still worth a listen, especially if you’re a Denzel fan, but you might find yourself wishing he’d gone solo on this one.
