For those unfamiliar with 2hollis, picture Skrillex having an albino child who grew up listening to AG Cook and Playboi Carti. He just dropped a new track, and here are my thoughts.

First off, 2hollis produces all of his music himself, which instantly makes it 100% more impressive. This particular song is a quick two-minute banger. While I'm not the biggest fan of his voice, I’ll admit he flows decently and manages to stay in sync with the beat—most of the time. But honestly, it’s the production that really kept me engaged. The song kicks off with a wild mix of celestial and industrial sounds, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. Think of an OsamaSon-type beat with rapid-fire hi-hats and booming bass, but turned up a notch and laced with an extra dose of chaos.

Then, everything spirals, and the beat transforms into an all-out dubstep banger. It reminds me a lot of AG Cook, particularly in the way 2hollis handles both the beat and the vocals. While the track might not have flawless execution, I can definitely say I enjoyed it, and I’m pretty excited to see what he comes up with next. There’s a lot of potential here.

Oh, and that knocking sound at the end? It’s so realistic, it gets me every time
