Eternal Atake 2

Uzi is back with a follow-up to Eternal Atake, the album that had everyone split but still managed to stand out. I personally think it’s one of Uzi’s best. So, when I heard about a sequel, I was expecting EA2 to bring something—anything—new to the table. But honestly, even though the tracklist looked promisingly short, it sounds like these songs were whipped up in five minutes with zero effort to make them memorable. Say what you want about Pink Tape, but at least it was bold and memorable, even if it wasn’t for everyone.

Eternal Atake 2, on the other hand, feels like pre-2014 Uzi—back before they were putting out the good stuff. It’s this outdated style that’s not quite rage, doesn’t really sound like Uzi, and isn’t remotely unique. It’s like listening to the same album I’ve heard ten times already, only done better elsewhere.

Overall, this is the most cookie-cutter trap album I’ve heard from Uzi, which is honestly disappointing. They were on such an interesting path with the last couple of projects, but all of that’s out the window here. What’s left are half-finished, generic tracks that sound like something from an up-and-coming artist who isn’t worried about quality.

Honestly, it’s a letdown—big time.
