Cigarettes
So, 'Cigarettes' dropped out of nowhere alongside 'Go Hard 2.0,' and it’s honestly such a solid track. It feels like classic Juice WRLD—raw and emotional—but this time, he’s rapping about cigarettes instead of drugs, tying it all back to wanting to break free from loneliness. His vocals are on point—full of emotion without being overdone, and you can really hear the pain in his voice at just the right moments. It makes the song so easy to connect with, especially if you’ve ever felt that same loneliness he’s talking about.
Nick Mira’s production keeps it mellow, with a nice guitar instrumental that probably could’ve been pushed forward a bit more. The drums, though… they’re kinda awkward and don’t do much for the track. Still, Juice’s delivery and lyrics carry it hard. You can tell this song meant a lot to him; the way he sings about cigarettes almost feels like a metaphor for coping. And yeah, it’s a bit better than drugs, but it still gets you thinking about how heavy loneliness can be. The song’s structure is super interesting too—the flows are smooth, and that bridge? Beautiful.
Even though it’s a pretty sad track, it’s one of those songs that gives you chills because of how real it feels. Like, we’ve all felt alone at some point, and it’s crazy how relatable that is even when we’re surrounded by people. Juice puts that feeling into words in a way that just hits different.
Overall, 'Cigarettes' is one of those tracks you throw on when you’re in your feelings, especially on a quiet night. It’s raw, relatable, and everything that made us fall in love with Juice’s music in the first place.
