Tobey

This is the latest modern Eminem we've got. He's preparing to release his new record, "The Death of Slim Shady". Look, I understand that not many people are excited for a new Eminem album, but this recent release piqued my interest to see what he's gearing up to drop.

Firstly, I have to give a huge shout-out to BabyTron for carrying his weight and more on this track; he's the main attraction here. You can expect some classic Tron wordplay and his deep Detroit flow. I really like his contributions. These three represent different eras of Detroit rap. I appreciate the concept; they all deliver solid performances. Big Sean avoids anything too corny, which is rare, and the same goes for Eminem, which almost never happens. Overall, great performances all around, nothing to criticize there. Where they lost me is with the beat. It's very corny and overly cinematic, feeling more like a soundtrack for a movie (which it probably is). It disrupts the vibe for me. But hey, we got something decent from Em, so this still feels like a win.
