Demon Muppy

This project is Hip-Hop turned very fun and laid back, with almost an edgy stoner undertone. The production on this EP is mostly nothing new for Niontay, being very quick and high energy trap beats. Some songs though do sound as if they lack that kind of spunk and fun energy as the rest of them. This project honestly lacks a huge layer of cohesion that I see in every other work of Niontay’s which is strange. Although this EP seems to have a lack of identity it can be almost made up for through his laid back flow and charisma through each track, although his vocals are uniform throughout the whole project a lot of times it feels as if the production fully drowns his low pitched vocals down leaving a huge gap in the music up to the listeners interpretation. Due to his lack of anything special in his vocals, it’s a common theme in this EP of his features outperforming him, like 454 in “Supa Bowl LVIII.” Overall this EP leaves a lot to be desired for the next project while also not living up to the previous singles and debut album Niontay released.
