Cosmogramma

Cosmogramma stands out as an album that initially interested me purely based on its cover art a fusion of complexity and simplicity. Listening to it confirms this intial idea of it; the album is straightforward in its production, featuring drums, samples, and jazzy instruments layered to create intricate tracks. Despite this clarity, the overall experience is enigmatic and evokes indescribable feelings through my first few listens. This mysterious quality is really why I admire this project; it doesn't overcomplicate itself yet keeps a result that's strange, captivating, and difficult to articulate. Take "Recoiled," for example; while I can take apart all of its elements, its easier through conveying the emotional impact it elicits, being super elusive and unpredictable. Similarly, "German Haircut" doesn’t allow for easy explanation, blending jazz with abstract drum patterns. This project is epicly unpredicatble, random, different, and yet undeniably beautiful, making it a super great listen and album experience. In essence, this album proffessionally combines electronic and jazz elements in a manner that doesnt accept explanation, yet ultimately captivates and gives a great experience to anyone who listens. Its crazy that this album was made almost 15 years ago because it has aged perfectly, and I cant wait to see how it holds up in the future.
